Melissa Anne â€śHemiGirlâ€ť Teixeira comes from Fall River Massachusetts. She is synonymous with the word entertainment. Discovered at the age of 17, she made her first television appearance starring in a commercial for a local Chrysler dealership, garnering the locally known nickname “HemiGirl”. From there she became a spokes model, working the International Auto Show for Chrysler, and is an official TapouT girl for the popular Mixed Martial Arts clothing lineâ€™s reality television show on the Versus Network.
A former member of the Lingerie Football League (LFL), Melissa Anne has appeared on FOX Newsâ€™s â€śStrategy Room,â€ť and FOXâ€™s Boston affiliate WFXTâ€™s 10 Oâ€™Clock news, and is a staple of the Boston Heraldâ€™s â€śInside Trackâ€ť column. Melissa went on to become Miss Howard TV in August of 2009 because of her knowledge of cars. Her wits were matched against Howard Sternâ€™s limo driver Ronnie Mund; the car guy, which gained her a spot co-hosting â€śThe Auto Showâ€ť on Howard 101. While spending time in New York City, she connected with Playboy on several levels, becoming a top 10 girl in the Cyber Club, and hosting the â€śMoparâ€™s at the Mansionâ€ť party in Beverly Hills.
Not only has she created a name for herself, but she has created a brand. While being the CEO/founder of HemiGirl Entertainment, she took her brand to the next level in 2009 when she introduced to the world her concept of the â€śAll American Girlsâ€ť; The HemiGirls. Since 2009â€™s calendar, Melissa has been producing and marketing her brand to the world, with a 2010 calendar, a fashion line in 2011 called HemiFashion and is now producing her 2012 â€śDOOMSDAYâ€ť calendar – an example of pure genius.
