My name is Nicole Ferreira, and I’m a Published Playboy, Fitness and Glamour Model. You can see me in Magazines such as Playboy’s Vixens, Playboy’s Sexy Girls Next Door, Playboy’s Hot Shots, American Curves, MuscleMag, FitModels for Men, FitBody for Women & Now Sexy Skin Magazine!!! In fact, I’m happy to say that I’ve been Internationally published over 25 times! I also have my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and my Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW). However, despite all of the modeling and personal success, MOST IMPORTANTLY, I’m a Mom!!!!!
How did you become an Internationally Published model?
I began modeling at 29 years old, which is quite a bit “non-traditional”. In fact, it was at my first National Fitness and Bikini competition in Malibu, California that a fitness photographer (Rob Sims) requested I do a test shoot for a magazine. This first photo shoot was also my first 8 page layout in American Curves! At the time, I was a Clinical Director at a Mental Health Clinic, and I decided to pursue my dream of modeling…. So I did I’ve been published over 25 times in many International magazines. I’m so happy I had this opportunity, and had the support of my husband to pursue it.
You’re really 37 years old? How do you stay in shape?
Ha! Yes, I really am 37 years-old, and proud of it! I’ve always looked a lot younger then my age, and I believe a combination of genetics and self-care are the reasons. I DO NOT tan in the sun or in a tanning booth! I’ve been weight training since 17 years-old, and I have a nutritionally balanced diet. I get a facial every three weeks, and always use a good moisturizer and sun block. When I was pregnant I used TONS of safe moisturizer on my belly, and continued to work out until 9 months pregnant (when my doctor told me to stop). I believe psychological health is just as important as physical health, so staying happy and goal oriented will do wonders for your appearance.
What’s it like being a Mom and a Model?
It’s great! I get called a “MILF” quite often..LOL… Actually, I modeled for about 5 years prior to getting pregnant, and the month my son was born, June 2007, I was published in both Playboy Hot Shots and American Curves Magazines! When my son was about a year old, I started modeling again, and I continue to model now. I book photo shoots in the Northeast area in MA, RI, NY, NJ, CT now, as opposed to traveling to California. I love modeling, and I’ll continue as long as I can…
What Are Your Future Interests?
To be the best mom I can be, and to simply continue to enjoy life. Modeling is so much fun, and brings me much happiness. I also enjoy photographing my son and pets, so perhaps photography is in my future? Well, at least for personal fulfillment
